What I can't do — and why that protects you
Florida law is strict about what a notary may and may not do. A few things I will always decline, for your protection:
I cannot give legal advice or explain which documents you need — that's your attorney's role.
I cannot prepare, complete, or select legal documents for you.
I cannot certify copies of birth, death, or marriage certificates — those come from the issuing office.
I will not notarize blank or incomplete documents — a notary who would isn't protecting you.
